Accreditation as a VMO

A Practitioner may apply for Credentialing by submitting a completed Application Form to the Director of Nursing of Port Macquarie Ophthalmic Surgery.

The Director of Nursing is required to submit the application to the Medical Advisory Committee who will evaluate the Practitioners credentials and scope of practice.

That recommendation is then submitted to the Directors for approval, in line with the strategic direction for the Hospital.

The Director of Nursing will advise the Practitioner in writing, as soon is reasonably practicable of the decision made in relation to their Application.
